Toyota Camry Hybrid Won 2 Awards in Australia
Toyota won the award again. This time the Toyota Camry Hybrid won two awards in Australia, namely the Green Innovation Award and People’s Choice Award. Green Innovation Award is Australian automotive journalist selection, while People’s Choice Award based online consumer polls the Continent Kangaroo.

Camry Hybrid is powered by 2AZ-FXE petrol engine which has a capacity of 2400 cc power 150 hp with 138 lbft of torque. Additional 650-volt electric motors powered 190 hp with 200 lbft of torque, making it very responsive. Toyota claims 15 percent faster acceleration compared with 2400 cc engine vehicles non-hybrid. Another specialty is the size of the nickel-metal hydride battery is very compact, because it weighs only about 70 kg.
