Visiting New York City
A visit to New York City should be on everyone’s to do list. It is one of the best cities in the world and a Mecca for tourists. Here are just a few of the must see sights this city has to offer.
Central Park – This 843 acre park in the middle of the city has plenty to offer and is a must see. Take a stroll, go for a run or visit the famous sailboat pond. Don’t forget to stop by a food cart for a hot dog or bag of Boiled Peanuts.
Statue of Liberty – Another must do tourist sight. This gift from France is one of the main reasons tourists come to New York. Climb to the top if you can handle the stairs for a stunning view.
Broadway – Take in a show or just walk around the streets enjoying the sights and people watching. A bag of spiced Brazil Nuts makes a nice snack and there are street vendors offer all kinds of fare.
Rockefeller Center – If you are in the city over the Christmas holidays or just in the winter this is a great place to visit. The huge Christmas tree is a big attraction or just go ice-skating.
