Toyota Camry Hybrid Won 2 Awards in Australia
Toyota won the award again. This time the Toyota Camry Hybrid won two awards in Australia, namely the Green Innovation Award and People’s Choice Award. Green Innovation Award is Australian automotive journalist selection, while People’s Choice Award based online consumer polls the Continent Kangaroo.
Page caradvice.com.au wrote in appreciation Green Innovation Award, nine senior journalists who became the jury unanimously declared the Camry Hybrid as the latest technology-laden car which makes it the most environmentally friendly vehicles. Toby Hagon, national editor of Fairfax Drive, which gave the award jury said the figure compares small car like the Camry Hybrid, because it is very economical in fuel consumption (fuel), but strength performance was almost on top of the average car on the market.
The grace of the People’s Choice Award is the result of an online poll. Success Camry Hybrid in 2010 was repeating the success of Toyota Australia in 2009. Last year, a similar award obtained Toyota Prius Hybrid.
Senior Executive Sales and Marketing Director of Toyota Australia, David Büttner, said the Camry Hybrid is a mix between performance and economical fuel consumption. “The level of fuel consumption and exhaust emissions produced is the best of all cars made in Australia,” said Büttner.
